Check visible wires safely with the power off. Ask support if you are unsure which plug belongs where.

Start with a visual check
Turn off the bike and unplug the charger from the wall before looking at wires or plugs. The video shows connections that can differ between models. Do not connect wires by colour alone.
- Look at the accessible wires near the display, brake levers, throttle, battery and motor.
- Check for a wire trapped against the frame, a visibly loose plug, cuts, moisture or burnt marks.
- Take a clear photo of anything unusual and send it to support with your bike model and any error code.
- Only reconnect a plug if it is a normal user connection shown in your model's instructions or support has identified it for you. Hold the plug body, line it up correctly and never force it or pull on the wires.
When to stop

| Melted plastic, burnt marks or damaged pins | Stop using the bike and contact support. Do not reconnect the damaged plug. |
| Water or green/white deposits around a plug | Keep power off and ask support how to proceed. |
| Cut wire or split connector seal | Have it checked and repaired before use. |
| A plug you cannot identify | Send a photo. Do not guess where it belongs. |
Do not move wires with the bike powered, push loose pins back into plugs, or open the battery or controller. Electrical tests, wiring repairs and internal connections are jobs for a qualified repairer following the correct model instructions.
