What E02 means

E02 means the bike has detected a problem with the brake signal. It does not tell you which part needs replacing, or prove that the brakes are safe to use.

What you can check

  1. Turn off the bike. Check that both brake levers return fully when released.
  2. Look for anything blocking a lever, such as a moved handguard, grip or dirt. Do not ride with a bent or sticking lever.
  3. Look at the visible cables near the levers for damage or a loose connection. Do not open the controller or disconnect the brake safety system.
  4. If E02 stays on, contact support with a photo of the code and the levers. Tell us if it started after rain, a fall or a repair.

Stop riding if braking feels weak, a lever sticks, or the error remains. Have support or a qualified repairer check it. Do not bypass the brake motor cut-off to make the bike run.
