What E08 means

E08 means the bike is receiving an unexpected throttle signal. The throttle or its connection may need attention; the code alone does not identify a failed part.

What you can check

  1. Turn off the bike before touching the throttle or wiring.
  2. Gently turn and release the throttle. It should return fully on its own. Look for a grip, bar end or handguard pressing against it.
  3. Look for a cracked throttle housing or visibly damaged cable. Take a photo rather than opening the housing or pulling wires.
  4. If the throttle sticks or E08 remains, stop using the bike and contact support with your model and photos.

Do not ride with a sticking throttle. Do not test wires with the bike powered, disconnect parts to bypass the error, or spray lubricant inside the throttle. Ask support before ordering a replacement.
