What E07 means

E07 means a motor-related fault. It may involve the motor, its wiring or a connection. The code alone does not mean you need a new motor.

What you can check

  1. Stop riding and turn off the bike. Unplug any charger from the wall.
  2. Look at the visible cable going to the motor. Check for cuts, trapped wires, loose plugs or discolouration. Do not open covers, pull wires or bend connector pins.
  3. Take a photo of the display and anything that looks damaged. Tell support if E09 is also shown, or if the problem began after rain, a fall or a repair.
  4. Contact support if the error remains. Get advice before ordering a motor or attempting removal.

Do not move or unplug motor cables while the bike is powered. Electrical measurements and motor repairs should be done by a qualified repairer following support's instructions.

For warranty repairs, contact support before opening or removing parts. See Warranty Claims.
